At NEST Early Learning Center, we believe in preparing our children not just for school — but for life. That’s why we’ve introduced “Little Thinkers, Big Ideas”, an exciting innovation-themed extra-mural program designed to give our children early exposure to technology, entrepreneurship, and creativity in a fun and age-appropriate way.
In our community and beyond, too many children are left behind when it comes to digital literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and problem-solving skills. We’re changing that — by making innovation accessible to even our youngest learners.
“Little Thinkers, Big Ideas” is built on the belief that every child is a creator, a problem solver, and a future leader — and we’re nurturing that potential from the very start.
Spark curiosity and creativity through guided exploration.
Teach the value of teamwork, responsibility, and communication.
Lay a strong foundation for future tech and entrepreneurial learning.
Connect children with the real world through play, projects, and stories.
Children create and explore using building blocks, recyclable materials, and problem-solving challenges like “build a bridge for your toy.”
Through fun role-play and storytelling, children learn basic trade ideas, participate in mini market days, and imagine their future jobs.
We introduce children to supervised, age-appropriate tech tools like interactive digital stories, coding toys (e.g. BeeBots), and music gadgets.
We invite local parents, creatives, and entrepreneurs to share their skills — from building and hairdressing to tech and gardening.
Children more confident in expressing their ideas.
Early grasp of basic economic and technology concepts.
Joyful learning experiences that connect school and real life.
Stronger community and parent involvement in learning.
We are currently inviting:
Partners and donors to support with resources (e.g. tablets, recycled materials, training).
Volunteers with skills in tech, storytelling, music, or creative arts.
Community businesses to collaborate through visits and sponsorships.
Your support can help us build a generation of confident, curious township innovators — starting right here at NEST.
