About the Bakery

The NEST Oven is more than just a bakery — it’s a warm-hearted space where fresh loaves rise alongside young minds. Based at NEST Early Learning Center in Chris Hani Ext 2, The NEST Oven provides healthy, daily baked goods to our children and community while empowering local women and youth through baking skills and enterprise training.

What We Do

Feed Little Bellies

Every day, we bake fresh, nutritious snacks for the children of NEST.

Train & Empower

Through weekend workshops and hands-on baking, we equip community members with skills for life.

Sell with Purpose

We offer affordable baked goods to the community. Every loaf helps fund NEST’s education and safety initiatives.
